Dr. Gregory Giasson DC, MSACN, MS

Greg grew up in the western mountains of Maine and attended the University of Maine at Orono. He received two Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Veterinary Science along with his Master of Science degree in Biochemistry studying the immune system. To further his education he moved to upstate New York where he attended New York Chiropractic College. Greg received his Doctorate in Chiropractic in March 2010 and another Master of Science degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition in June 2010. While at NYCC he became a member of the Phi Chi Omega honors society and recipient of both the Frank P. DeGiacomo Technique and D.D. Palmer Awards.


Outside of work he spends his free time in the woods hiking, camping and fishing. He has a fascination with wilderness knowledge and bushcraft techniques. He also enjoys cooking, woodworking, gardening and canoeing.



Akshata Nayak MSACN, MS

Akshata was born and brought up in Bangalore, India. She got her Master of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of Maine at Orono, in 2007, where she studied the effects of toxins on the activity of the immune system. Between 2007 and 2010, she worked at the University of Rochester, as a research technician, studying the progress and evaluation of traumatic brain injuries. While in upstate New York, she attended New York Chiropractic College and earned her second Master of Science degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition in 2010.


Away from the office she runs her own business of handmade crafts, The Orange Owl which was established in September 2010. During her time off, she enjoys pottery, cooking, hiking and designing new handicrafts.
